That's not all the news we have to bring you on this Wonderful Wed. morning concerning Champions Online ...

ZAM.com has an article on their site about "Champions Online and the Multiple-Revenue Model" which discusses the controversial micro-transactions:

Champions Online will support micro-transactions, but contrary to the concerns of some people, the game is not ‘based' on them. There are the basic tenets for our micro-transactions:

- The vast majority are aesthetic items, such as costume pieces, action figures, emblems, etc.
- A very few are account-level management tools, such as being able to rename a character.
- Micro-transactions should never limit your ability to enjoy the game or reach the level cap.
- Any micro-transaction that has a game effect can also be earned in the game through play.
- Also, it's important to note that the overwhelming majority of micro-transactions are account-wide. This means if you buy a costume piece or an action figure, every character on your account gets it.

The article is a good but long read. We'll let you check it out for yourself here.

Finally, our last story of the day for Champions Online concerns the Power Sets reveal found over at Massively.com titled "An update on revealed power sets at the Champions Online site". Here's what the article says:

When the Champions Online official site unveiled the full Electricity power set a week ago, they promised that further sets would be revealed over the coming days. They made true with that promise and we're here to round up what's been shown thus far:

In addition to previewing the abilities for these sets, Cryptic and IGN also put out a trailer that looks at a bunch of melee powers (and as a bonus, Teleporting) in action. There should be more reveals on the way and we'll probably do another round-up when there's a decent swag of new ones. In the meantime, you can see all the outed powers at the new Power Sets section of the Champions Online site.
