[MMOHub] How offering a free-to-play option can save 'WAR'



Today over at MMOHub you can find an interesting article discussing the idea of WAR going F2P. Here's a teaser and a paragraph to discuss:

Two of the biggest problems facing "Warhammer Online" are the lack of players on many servers, and the imbalance of realms in RvR due to one side being vastly outnumbered in any given tier. A large reason for this imbalance is the symmetry between sides, with each class having a mirror who (usually) excels compared to the other, causing players who want to play a certain character type (like a mage) to play the Order’s Bright Wizard rather than Destruction’s Sorcerer.


I agree with this. I leveled a Rune Priest to 40 as well as a Shadow Warrior, and this lack of balance and lack of players ... Caused more and more of my friends to leave till it got to the point, where I left to.
