According to Mashable.com the Storm 2 will have WiFi, More Memory, & Improved Touchscreen.

As a Storm user, I'm here to tell you ... They are a really nice phone, but I have more quirks and issues with it than any other phone I've ever owned. Constantly locking up, etc.

This news about the Blackberry Storm 2, makes me really excited that they have taken the time to listen to the complaints of the users to give us a revamped phone (I hate to tell you though ... I'm not spending 400 bucks on it :) ) Here's a video of it to get you all excited before reading the specs that Mashable is reporting.



Mashable also states:

On the specifications side, the BlackBerry Storm 2 has more memory, will take up to a 32GB microSD card, includes a 3.2 megapixel camera, and now includes WiFi. The biggest change is in the keyboard — gone is the mechanical “button” keyboard from the original BlackBerry Storm — the new model will be fully electronic (so the screen won’t shift when you type) and will sport a full-width keyboard while in landscape mode.

There's also the rumor it will be available on the AT&T network, so people like me with a hacked 3G phone on a EDGE network can finally purchase a phone on our network. You can read about these rumors here or here.

According to what I can find it's release date is still unannounced. You can also read more about it and the claims that it may make iPhone users think twice. Remember I have a iPod Touch and a BB Storm ... Looking at the BB Storm 2 info and knowing what I have ... I'm still wishing my iPod could make calls, so no in my opinion.
