According to the NY Daily News Avatar has broken a new record. The ability to KILL someone. Yes that's right... Avatar is so awesome that it caused a Taiwanese man to have a stroke. The article states:

In neighboring Taiwan, a 42-year-old man with a history of hypertension died of a stroke earlier this month that is being blamed on overstimulation from viewing "Avatar" in 3-D, Agence France Presse reports.

How many people can claim that? I can see James Cameron at dinner parties now: "Oh yeah! Well my movie caused one man's head to explode!"

The article goes on to state the the movie is causing political [Rumored] unrest in China. Stating:

The Chinese government is limiting the number of 2-D theaters that can show the blockbuster "Avatar" - because of fears that the enormously popular movie will cause political unrest, London's Guardian reports.
