The Bioware Bazaar



Bioware has opened a Bazaar. It will be an online auction. The site states:

To show our appreciation of fan support over the last 15 years, we have created the BioWare Bazaar!

The BioWare Bazaar is a week long series of online auctions featuring over 400 prizes, ranging from custom painted PC's to BioWare apparel and more!

To bid on these auctions, fans will have to collect tokens through various challenges. On April 6th at 9AM PDT the first BioWare Bazaar auction will begin, with new prizes being auctioned every 15 minutes until 4PM PDT on Saturday.

The prizes are some pretty amazing prizes. You can find the full list here, but check out a few of these:

  • Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition Artwork Branded Computer - $2,000
  • Dragon Age: Origins White Box Art Branded Computer - $2,000
  • M11x AlienWare Laptop - $1,419.00

What are you waiting on? Oh yeah, the rules and what to do, and what not. :-) According to the site:

To Enter. Beginning 9:00:01 AM PDT on Monday March 29, 2010 through 4:00:00 PM PDT on Saturday April 10, 2010 (the "Contest Period"), log on with your Bioware account to social.bioware.com (the "Site") and follow the instructions to obtain an account with 1000 BioWare Auction Tokens (the "Tokens"). (If you do not already have a Bioware account, you can create one at social.bioware.com). Tokens cannot be sold, are non-transferable, have no monetary value, do not constitute currency or property of any type, can solely be used to bid on items during the Auction element of the Contest (discussed below) and expire as of 4:00:00 PM PDT Saturday April 10, 2010. Limit: one Token Account per person.

Sorry Canadians ... No love:

This Contest is only open to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia with the exception of residents of Florida and New York, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry and who had Internet access as of March 15, 2010. Employees of Electronic Arts Inc., and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, advertising, promotion and publicity agencies ("Sponsor and its agents") and the immediate family members and persons living in the same household of each are not eligible. Contest is void where prohibited, restricted or taxed by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
